PRAYER An Outline for Revival From Rev. Peter Marshall |
|
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. |

2 Chronicles 7:14 "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." |

That each of us "go deeper" in Jesus! Give ourselves daily to Jesus Christ. You can't be married without a wedding. But a wedding doesn't make a marriage! A marriage is not having someone to hold you, but that you can be lovers. We are obsessed with self-fulfillment. "Self" cannot lead us anywhere because of our sinful nature! The only way we can change is to face ourselves, our own attitudes and emotions. Jesus emphasized repentance. His blood was shed for those who know they are wrong! Pharisees never admit they are wrong. We must be Christ centered! |

That each of us "go deeper" with each other! The early church shared in teaching, fellowship (i.e.
KOINONIA), breaking bread, and prayer. We cannot be Christian's alone! We cannot grow beyond a certain point by ourselves! We must be committed to live openly and honestly in front of others, to have a willingness to be needy. The Church needs to be a place where we are free to be who we are. God has called the Church to be His Body in the earth! God sets each member in the body as He desires. There is no competition, but a desire to meet together that Christ's kingdom come and His will be done in the earth as it is in heaven! |

| That we "go deeper" in our public life. We are the salt of the earth, a city set on a hill, a light for the world. At what point will we rise to fight for what we believe? | ||
