WORD ALIVE MISSION
KPALIME, TOGO
"First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world." Romans 1:8
This was our first introduction to Africa. Pastor Clive Isaac Mould of CAFM, Christian Action Faith Ministries, was our guide. CAFM has been given 6,000 acres near Kpalime and we were given a tour of the property. The property is largely undeveloped with several fish ponds which Pastor Mould wants to develop to supply food for the community as well as employment and income for the churches. In the future they want to develop light industry on the property.
Here are some pictures of the property...
Who says there are no new areas for exploration? We discovered that our mission team was the first
missionaries ever to visit the Kpalime area! WOW! We stopped by the mayors office because he wished to meet us and we were invited to meet with the Regional Minister of Kloto
District, DEH Gbanzi Komi, in his office! Togo's official language is French. Unfortunately, the Minister did not speak English and we had to speak through an
interpreter. It turns out he is a Christian! He sent a soldier with us that day to open up the Chateau Vial for a personal tour. Occasionally the President of Togo and his cabinet come here for meetings.
The Regional Minister of Kloto District, DEH Gbanzi Komi, gives us his attention as Pastor Greene shares the vision of the rebuilding of Noah's Ark!
Pastor Godwin was our host pastor at the "Action Chapel." Pastor Dick spoke at the evening meetings and I shared at their "Prayer Summit." I was impressed at the intensity of their prayer! These people know how to pray! At the close of the meetings all the team members received presents, as we were the first missionaries to ever visit Kpalime!
Following are some more pictures of African landscape and flowers...
